BX ARCO Australia Door Systems delivered its first fully #304 stainless steel shutter system for a Pilbara-based operation.
Designed for harsh and highly corrosive environment s, the solution was engineered to provide long-term durability and reliability where standard shutter systems can struggle. Unlike conventional stainless steel shutters that often utilise stainless steel only in the curtain, this project involved the manufacture of a complete stainless steel door system.

Corrosive Operating Environment
The shutter was required to perform in a highly reactive industrial environment where corrosion can significantly reduce product lifespan. BX ARCO Australia Door Systems engineered a complete #304 stainless steel solution to maximise corrosion resistance and long-term performance.
Total System Durability
Many stainless steel shutters only incorporate stainless steel in the curtain. To provide greater durability, all externally exposed components, including the drum, guides, brackets, bottom rail, wind locks and key fixings, were manufactured from stainless steel.
Reducing Maintenance Requirements
The solution was designed to minimise maintenance while maintaining reliable operation in challenging conditions commonly found in mining, marine, oil and gas facilities.
Outcome
BX ARCO Australia Door Systems successfully delivered its first complete #304 stainless steel shutter system for a Pilbara-based operation.
